At Preside, we build software for public safety. We improve the lives of the people who keep us safe by automating operations and increasing efficiency through our products.

Origin Story 🌎

Preside was founded in January 2024, on the premise that while there is an abundance of emerging technology in criminal intelligence and investigative analytics, back office and administrative software for Public Safety is lagging behind. We are solely interested in building software that modernizes the day-day operational experience for public safety professionals.

Less time should be spent on manual data entry via pen and paper or excel spreadsheet, and more time spent supporting law enforcement professionals serving in the field. Preside was built to make sure that your administrative software is as up to date as your criminal intelligence tooling.

Our two rules for building software are simple:

1. We develop products modularly so that pricing is affordable for police departments of all sizes. It also makes it easier for Preside Products to live as standalone solutions or integrate alongside your existing software.
2. We will develop tailored solutions for any law enforcement agency as long as it works alongside criminal intelligence tooling and does not revolve around the facilitation of money. Our bread and butter is modernizing administrative work that occurs on pen & paper.

To conclude, we believe that the next generation Administrative Operating System (OS) for the public safety sector will be built alongside existing System of Records (SoRs). Preside develops modularly integrated products that augment existing software. Come work for us today!
